The Best Source For Callaway Irons
Have you ever spent many hours online or at local stores searching for good quality golf clubs and golfing equipment? Want to save a great deal of time and funds on your next purchase of Callaway irons and golfing accessories? It’s wonderfully handy if you are searching for Callaway clubs and callaway golf accessories. You can find also callaway golf apparel, callaway golf bags and more.
I recently started practicing with a Callaway Big Bertha driver. I wanted to learn the best type and quality of Callaway clubs that were available, so I decided to search all of my usual shopping sources. I also wanted to pay the finest available price! If you are interested in purchasing new golf clubs, the best place to begin your research is directly on the manufacturer’s web site.
You could find this material by visiting the Callaway home page. For example, if you wanted to procure the head weight for a specific Callaway iron. In some cases, you may even be able to purchase clubs that are identified as display models or excess inventory. Some manufacturers will also offer previously used clubs for sale.
I was recently interested in purchasing a Callaway X-22 Tour Iron set, but instead I opted for the Big Bertha set since the price was so fantastic. You will discover that many manufacturers carry a plentiful inventory of golf equipment to pick from.
Whenever feasible, You will often get better support and the guarantees of the manufacturer by purchasing directly from a dealer, and you will usually get better quality golf equipment at a similar price to the auction sites. I would abstain from making your purchase through the assorted auctions sites like Ebay.
I’m especially fond of Callaway irons since it’s what I personally use. Some of the best golf products on the market today come from Callaway. They feature golf clubs for all handicap groups, from low or scratch golfers to high handicap golfers. Also, you should be able to find plenty of discussions about Callaway golf clubs if you search around at any of the golf forums.
Top British Sporting Events
I will be writing about some of the most famous sporting events on the English calender. I am not personally involved in the world of professional sport, unfortunately.
I actually work on various projects to do becoming a foster parent, stuttering therapy and also helping people to learn how to play the guitar.
I am currently looking forward to the Fifa World Cup and have just enjoyed England’s win in the Ashes. These are sporting events which are not played on an annual basis but are every four years in respect of the football world cup and normally every two years for the ashes series.
Horse racing has two massive sporting events in its yearly calender, the Grand National and the Derby. The Grand National has to be my favourite out of these two as it is normally packed full of incidents as it is a jumping race and there is much more of a chance for the outsiders in the race.
The Derby is also famous throughout the world and is a flat race. This race which is run over the Epsom downs racecourse and features some of the best racehorses from around the world.
The FA Cup of football is one of my favourite sporting events of the year. Some people may argue that it has lost some of its glamour in recent years but I would have to disagree.
The British Grand Prix in formula one is another great event from the British sporting calender. I do enjoy watching the formula one however I do feel that at times it can be some what tedius. Lewis Hamilton is without doubt my favourite driver and I really enjoyed him becoming World Champion, some thing that I am sure we will witness again in the not too distant future.
The Wimbledon Tennis Championships are always of interest to somebody like myself as I love to not only watch this sport but I also love to play the odd game of tennis as well.
In golf there is the British Open. This tournament is not as exciting as The Ryder Cup which takes place every two years but it is still very exciting to watch and there is always a live prospect of a British winner. Watch out for a young golfer called Luke Donald over the next few years as I think he is due some big tournament victories.

How To Improve Your Golf Swing
Watching a pro golfer hit a beautiful, straight and long drive can either be really inspirational or really frustrating. Learning how to swing the club is a vital skill for aspiring golfers of any skill level or age. Take advantage of these quick tips to help improve your swing and your entire golf game:
1) You’ll need to focus on the task without over thinking things to ensure a fluid, accurate swing.
2) Keeping your head down is very important. You need to hone your vision onto your target, which is where the golf ball is laying. Don’t look at where you’ll be hitting it and keep your head down throughout the entire swing.
3) It’s important to follow through with all of your strokes, maintaining your swing until a later point. Beginners commonly stop their motion as soon as they strike the ball, but following through will greatly increase distance and power.
4) You should work on lengthening your swing, which means keeping your arms all the way extended and operating through a full range of motion.
5) Many people don’t rotate properly while aligning their backswing. It’s important that you achieve a complete, proper and tight rotation so that you maintain accuracy and strength.
6) Of course of huge importance is the ability to transfer the energy from your body to the ball, producing a strong and lengthy drive. If you keep your weight on your back foot you won’t generate or transfer as much energy. Transfer your weight to your front foot making it easier to apply your force to your drive.
Nothing can instantly improve your golf swing besides spending a lot of time practicing. You may never be able to drive the ball 300 yards like the pros do, but you can significantly increase your driving length and accuracy with the proper tools. Follow these tips to help jumpstart your game and improve your swing.

There are lots of great golf tips that you could learn about, such as golf driving range tips, but if you really want to improve your game, you are going to want to get some ideas on golf tips for driving straight. There are a few golf tips for driving straight that you are certainly going to keep in your mind in order to have an accurate shot.
Train Your Aim With The Help Of Golf Driving Range Tips
One of the best golf tips for driving straightis to train your aim. This indicates that you have to keep in mind the railroad alignment analogy if you want to succeed here. Imagine yourself standing on railroad tracks so that you are going to drive the ball straight.
Now imagine that the railroad tracks are completely straight and that a big train is coming at you right from the end of it. Keep this image in your mind as you are preparing for your shot, and keep focusing on it as you power off shot.
Lag for Power
Another great tip is to lag for power. Casting the golf club from the top of the swing is one of the most common power leaks, so you want to avoid this as best as you can. don’t forget that the more power better is your drive, but of course accuracy is also very important here. Lagging for power is really the secret move for more power on your drive.
Drive it a Mile
Another of the best golf tips for driving straight is to drive it a mile. Although it is okay for you to move a bit off the ball in the backswing, you really want to remember that if you want to transfer the maximum amount of power into the ball, then you are going to want to make sure that you are not swaying too far either way, backwards or forwards.
Getting custom fit golf clubs
Every golfer’s physical capability and swing is distinctive. Many of today’s best golf clubs can be custom fit for lie angle, shaft type and length, grip type and size. Custom fitting golf clubs involves several easy measurements and a quick self-assessment of your game. This custom golf club has become more than a fad that even not so professional golfers test its waters.
Custom fitting is the process for tailoring a golf club to suit your personal swing.
Whatever your level, with a custom golf club the aim is to ensure that if you do make a good swing, the club will be square at impact and should produce a straight shot.
Custom Golf Club How To’s:
To custom fit your golf clubs, you need to know: your gender (male or female); your height in your stockings or socks; the distance from your wrist (where it bends) to the floor with your shoes off; your age; your handicap or skill level; how fast you swing a golf club; what club you use at the 150 yard marker.
Gender is used to put you into the correct fitting scale for custom golf clubs. The golf industry uses different definitions of “standard length” for men and women.
Your height and the distance in inches from your wrist to the floor are used together to determine the length of a custom golf club that is appropriate for you. The starting point for club length can vary up to 3 ½-inch ranging from ladies to men plus 1 ½-inch. A taller person with long arms can require shorter clubs than an average height person with short arms. About 80 percent of all golfers are of a standard length.
Your age, handicap (if you happen to have one), self-assessed skill level, estimated golf swing speed and club you use at the 150 yard marker are all combined to determined the custom golf club’s shaft flex that is appropriate for you.
A custom fit club can fix your slice. If you slice the ball it means that the toe of the club is leading into the ball which opens the face of the club. That may be down to a swing fault, but it could be because the club is too flat. So when in the custom fitting process you can make the custom golf club more upright to help with this. This will mean that the toe of the club will be slightly off the ground at address to compensate.
There are different ways of fitting according to custom golf club dealers but ultimately they are all trying to improve your game. To begin with simple measurements such as wrist-to-floor, height and hand size are taken and will point you to the right size club and at what angle it should be to the ground. Then you will take a club and hit some balls. One way is to place impact tape on the bottom of the custom golf club and an impact board on the floor.
As you hit the ball the board will leave a mark on the tape showing whether the heel or the toe of the custom golf club is striking the floor first. The resulting mark will show whether the club face needs to be flatter or more upright. In that case things get a bit more advanced. Analysis equipment can measure everything from your club speed to the side spin of the ball so that you can get maximum distance from your shot. You should also measure the launch angle of the ball, how much backspin you generate and impact efficiency - all which affect distance. The angle in which the custom golf club approaches the ball and the sidespin of it can help fix your game too.
Why don’t you start from scratch, instead of bringing down your old clubs,. It’s a big misconception that custom fitting is only for good golfers. Almost anyone will benefit. If you consider to upgrade a new set of clubs from the same manufacturer they may be able to adjust your old set to become custom golf clubs.
Custom fitting won’t cure all your bad shots. Coaching will sort that out. But if you do make a good swing, then the custom golf club will arrive correctly at impact and should produce a straight shot at your target. That alone will save shots during a round.
Lastly, custom fitting is often free of charge. But it is usually on the condition that you buy some golf clubs once you’ve been fitted. So it really depends on what your budget is. If you’re prepared to buy a new set of clubs it’s definitely worth getting fitted.

Add Yards To Your Drives - Fix Golf Slice
Fix golf slice is a thought on many amateur golfers’ minds. Studies reveal over 80% of all amateur golfers slice the ball. There have been more training aids, drills and tips to fix the golf slice that I can’t even begin to count.
What a frustrating situation! Do you realize what’s causing your golf slice? If you hit a golf slice, have you taken lessons; bought any training aids, and done several drills only to still hit a slice?
A golf slice is caused by the clubface coming across the ball from outside the target line, creating side-spin on the ball. Upon first thought, this may seem like a mechanical issue. And it is…but if you dig a little deeper, you’ll find it’s a ‘physical’ issue.
You see…your body dictates your ability to swing the club efficiently. If your body has ‘physical limitations’, your swing will not be mechanically sound and swing faults will appear.
In the golf swing there are many compensations for lack of proper mechanics. If you can’t make a 90 degree shoulder turn on the backswing, you’ll do whatever it takes to feel like you are making a full turn.
A good example of this would be to rotate your hips beyond the desired 45 degrees to enable your body to make a full backswing. What this does is rob you of power. You have no torque built up in your core to unleash into the ball at impact.
A golf slice is caused by the upper body getting ahead of the lower body, creating an “over-the-top” move, which in turn results in your clubface slashing across the ball and creating side-spin. Here comes the banana ball!
Your first inclination will be to take a lesson to fix this. If that doesn’t work, you might buy a training aid. If that doesn’t work you’ll buy an “offset” driver to help eliminate your golf slice.
Don’t buy anymore training aids. And keep your normal driver in your bag. Now the real answer! Take a break on your lessons.
You need to work on you core rotational flexibility to be able to initiate the downswing with your lower body first, to avoid the upper body getting ahead of it. It’s that simple. The minute your able to separate the upper and lower body upon initial move down…you’ll see that golf slice improve dramatically.
A golf slice is a weak shot that does not penetrate the air for maximum distance. Along with fixing your golf slice, you’ll add up to 30 yards to your drives. You will get more roll when the ball lands from a draw ball flight.
All of my programs, dvds, and books focus on core rotational strength and flexibility which will improve your power output and eliminate swing faults. You will not experience compensations on the golf course anymore.
When you work on your “machine”, your golf swing takes care of itself! You will finally eliminate the thought, “fix golf slice”.

Generate More Power In Your Golf Game
GENERATE POWER AT SETUP
We all want more power and distance.Whether you hit the ball 200 or 300 yards, adding an extra 10-15 yards to your driver gives any player confidence and a decisive advantage over the competition. Over the years as I have taught online golf lessons, many golfers have emailed me consistently with a breakdown of distance per club. They also provide where they would like to get to; normally 10-15 yards increase off the tee and from the fairway with their irons. The following advice is suggested to players who want an easy way to generate extra distance off the tee.I don’t recommend this set-up around the green or from the fairway, but will give you and extra 10-15 yards off the tee. The is a simple breakdown including different ways that power and distance is generated in our golf swing (I want you to understand what generates power):
- Solid Ball Contact: Not on heel or toe.
- Hand Rotation through the impact zone.
- Weight shift through the swing (i.e. ball).
- Follow Through position: This is more of a check point. Club face up at follow-through = less power.Club face down at follow-through = greater power.
Problem Lack of distance off the tee. Solution I am going to teach you a modified set-up that will allow for maximum power generation.Often golfers that have a slight draw generate more distance than players that hit a fade, so this set-up will put you in a position to hit a draw. This is also true for golfers on the PGA tour. The following, are steps to modify your set-up in order to allow for maximum distance generation:
- Go through your normal set-up routine as we teach in the DVD.And don’t foget to bend at the hips and not the stomach.
- Close your stance: Move your trailing foot back so that the toes are parallel to the middle of your leading foot.
- Put a bit more weight on your front foot: Instead of 50/50 you’ll have 60% on your leading leg and 40% of your weight on your trailing leg.In essence you’ll almost be leaning a little forward at set-up.
- Knee bend stays the same and take your normal swing, focusing on really shifting your weight & rotating your hands through the impact zone.
These modifications place your body in a very powerful position at set-up. Again remember only implement this set-up off the tee.You can try it with your irons on the practice range, and if you see amazing results then play with it on the course, and whatever you do, don’t change your entire set-up for your irons. This tip is simply a modification to add extra distance off the tee. To learn more golf instruction and how to improve your golf swing check out my site.
Is Buying Used Golf Clubs Really a Good Idea?
When you find that a top quality Callaway driver costs ,500 new and less than 0 used, the thought of buying used golf clubs has to come to mind. That can be a great move, but make sure you consider a few of these simple guidelines before you decide you’re about to get a great deal.
Before you plunk down your cash, make sure that what looks like a good deal really is one. To see of it is a bargain, compare the price with a new club of the same brand and model. A new Ping putter may run up to $100 or more. A used one that costs can definitely be a good deal, but only if the quality is still there.
For any club, look for obvious problems, like worn grips.
Cracks or splits in the rubber or leather are not just a sign of age. Grips can be replaced. But they also suggest less than stellar manufacturing or poor care. A club left out in the rain may have rust spots, but those could have been cleaned off before being offered for sale.
The effects of weather on a grip are not so easy to erase and few sellers will want to spend the money to replace one when they’re getting rid of the club. On the other hand some might, knowing that a few dollars invested can fool you. Take Caution. To re-grip your club, you may have to spend anywhere from a few dollars up to , some times more. Even if you’re willing to spend the extra money right away, you’re buying a club that is not in great shape. Reconsider.
Closely examine the clubface of the used club you are considering purchasing.
Almost all used clubs will have some wear, but if the sweetspot shows a shiny area, indicating excessive wear you might want to give it a pass. A clubface like that will cause your shots to be less accurate, which problably is the reason the seller is offering them in the first place.
The grooves should have well defined edges. They are there for a purpose. If there are dents in the surface, you should move onto the next one. Those can cause your flight angle to be way off.
Also check the shafts.
Grafite shafts are slightly less durable than steel, but they are lighter weight. They’ll dent easier. Make sure the shaft is still perfectly round. Dents, grooves and other signs of club abuse may throw off your swing because they affect flexibility and torque. The effect is subtle, but real. Test the shaft by trying to gently twist the head and grip in opposite directions. This could be very difficult. Therefore the shaft is weak.
Even steel shafts can suffer damage. Even if there are no sign of dents, a steel shaft can get bent. That can happen from a missed swing, or an angry golfer who decided to whack the club into the ground or a tree. Any deviation can suggest that a club has been bent. No golfer without special equipment could straighten the club back to its original shape. If they did get close, it will still weaken the club, affecting flexibility and balance. Move on.
Even a better way of buying used clubs is buying certified pre-owned golf clubs from Callaway. Callaway certified clubs must pass a 10 point inspection. You can also try them for 90 days under real life conditions and if you are not satisfied, they will buy them back. Callaway certified pre-owned clubs also come with a 12 month warranty. Buying certified used clubs may be a great way to save money, or a way to trade up to some better clubs.
Beginner golfers can really benefit by purchasing used golf clubs. Purchasing used clubs can be a cost-effective way to find out if your dedication to the sport justifies spending hundreds or even thousands for high-quality new clubs. Once your golf game is up to snuff, you may want to go that route. Or, you might just find a great bargain on a used club after all.
